Appearance: Zaynariel stands much taller than those around her, her muscled frame and pale skin barely contained by light armor, twin swords sheathed on her back between her two massive black wings. Her silver eyes analyze every situation, and her short black hair frames her calm face.

Personality: Zaynariel is a natural leader, and it shows in every facet of her personality. She is calm, collected, and ready to do whatever it takes to secure victory. She has a soft spot for mortals, doing everything she can to ensure their survival, even at the cost of her former allies. Despite this, she will not hesitate to sacrifice a thousand troops or civilians to ensure a million live. She believes that the needs of the many come before the needs of the few.

Background: Zaynariel had been leading troops into battle long before the formation of the Grey Treaty, the earliest record of her revealing her as the Archangel of Valour. As she lead the Angels in battle against mortalkind, she began to realize how futile and wrong the Celestial War really was. As such, she led Fallen Angel and Risen Demon sympathizers in a joint effort with the mortals, forming the Coalition. At the end of the war, she was instrumental in the writing of the Grey Treaty, and in the subsequent formation of the Grey Watch; however, she only become High Commander around 10,000 years ago, after the death of the Warlock Julius, the former High Commander.
She currently spends her time in the Revenant, seeing to the day-to-day demands of the Grey Watch.
