The Grey Watch

The Grey Watch is the ultimate police force. Their authority is trumped only by the Grey Treaty, which they were created to enforce; they answer to no government or faction, and all are subject to their policies and decisions.
They accept any volunteer, but their main source of recruitment is Conscription; according to the Grey Treaty, any found breaking it's laws (Murder, treason, war crimes, genocide, etc.) are liable for forceful induction into the Grey Watch, kept loyal by branding them with a Mark, which makes them unable to defy the the Grey Treaty through telepathic control. Though, they still have free will, conscripts find themselves physically unable to disobey orders. Every member of the Grey Watch goes through this, though it's the most painful for conscripts.


Grey Watch Command is based out of the Revenant, a massive space station located near the Sol system; however, they have a base of operations on nearly every known planet with civilization on it.

Due to their practice of conscripting criminals, very little training goes into the Grey Watch recruits. However, if they desperately need it, or simply need to refresh their skills, Grey Watch members can always see their Training Officer.


Due to the nature of the diversity of the Grey Watch, there is no combat uniform; members simply wear whatever armor they need. However, when not in combat, members are presented with a uniform though it is still optional. The only required uniform is the insignia of the Grey Watch visible on their person.
The non-combat uniform consists of:

Grey jacket with the Grey Watch insignia on the back. A hooded version is available if so desired.
Black undershirt.
Grey combat pants.
Black gloves.
Black combat boots.
